Discover literacy . . . a world of opportunity.

Students

The Miami Valley Literacy Council helps students from all over the Miami Valley and the world.  We have hundreds of active Basic and ESOL students at MVLC and LEAF combined.

MVLC offers a variety of educational programs for our students including:

  • Basic and ESOL classes at a variety of times, days and locations;
  • a computer lab with over 12 different reading, math and language programs;
  • an audio/visual lab with videos and listening cassettes;
  • a variety of educational and support services;
  • and individual tutoring.

Any student who wants to learn has all of the resources available at our downtown learning center and our satellite LEAF office at The Job Center.  Each student will get out of the program what he or she puts into learning.  A student who makes literacy an important goal in his or her life has the resources and educators available to make that goal a reality.
