The Learning Club (TLC) is MVLC's response to the growing need for literacy services for local children and youth.  We offer the following programs:

• After-school and Saturday morning tutoring during September through May

• Summer Camps in Writing and Math

• Jump Start Program which prepares students to go back to school in August and September

• TLC@MSA which provides at-risk teen mothers with literacy and parenting skills development (currently offered at Mound Street Academies)

MVLC is proud to be recognized as an approved Supplemental Education Service (SES) Provider through the Ohio Department of Education.  SES is a free tutoring service provided to students in schools in academic watch or emergency under the No Child Left Behind Act.  Locally, Dayton Public Schools and Trotwood City Schools offer SES programs.
